Overview

This position maintains database by entering new and updated client and account information in a family residential program.  Responsibilities may include researching/compiling information between departments and/or outside services. Perform both independently, and as a team. Entering quality data to report and monitor information across one or more programs. Office work includes the use of a computer including word processing. Responsibility for special projects related to department functions.  Employee is expected to perform all duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Qualification:

  • Required:  Minimally a High School Diploma and two years of relevant experience or an Associates Degree preferred; valid PA driver’s license; Act 33/34 clearances; health assessment that indicates “free from communicable disease and able to work with at risk population” upon hire and annually thereafter and CPR/first aid certification.  Experience working in Windows XP, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Word/Office.  Schedule may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed and/or as directed.  A  driver's license is also required.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Developing an understanding of Sojourner House MOMS services and data platforms, in order to promote the effective use of data for funding purposes.
  • Processing the daily operational data needs of Sojourner House MOMS; a focus on client service data and quick turnaround response.
  • Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems.
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities, and time sensitivity.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. May also include working closely with colleagues to identify and solve data-related problems.
  • Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of quality improvement strategies for Sojourner House MOMS.
  • HMIS Input and update vacancy boards.
  • PA WITTS Input
  • Reviews/updates on DQR monthly. Weekly if issues arise.
  • Collect and monitors monthly rent and rental agreements.
  • Client served report (monthly)
  • Client contact sheet.
  • Mail sorting.
  • Answering the door.
  • Prepare Intake packets.
  • Ordering and arranging supplies.
